One sided love

The words build and rise like a skyscraper;
The taller it gets the more emptier you feel.
You want to believe that it’s something beautiful;
You want to believe it’s a love that heals.
But instead its built on a weak foundation;
And the words weren’t what you thought it was.
You built this skyscraper of love, hope and dreams;
But little did you know the beauty was you, and that’s why it didn’t last.

Loving myself might be harder
Than loving someone else
Let’s admit it
The standards I made are more strict for myself

Never be the ONLY one bringing beauty and love to a relationship, love is beautiful, it’s fair, it makes you feel amazing. If you start doubting who you are, then it’s not love, its compromise, settling. Don’t settle, you are worth it, and you always will be.
