CHASING DREAMS

As children we laugh
The world seems limitless
At school we cower
Scared of being picked on
And then we work
Whether we love it or not
We work
We’re born chasing dreams
Now we chase our dreams away

They said we couldn’t do it
We laugh
We chose not to do it
They laugh
We’re all laughing and living for each other
Another wasted life

You stretch me, you push me
But it’s all worth it
My dreams, my hopes
Terrified I cling to you
Is this how it feels
Chasing dreams
Shouldn’t we be gliding instead?
