Tips and recommendations for our TLC activities:

1. Bubble Bath
We recommend salt baths. Ordinary salt will do, toss some in, and rejuvenate. Salt removes the negative energy and toxins your body retains. You may add natural fragrances or essential oils you find suitable for your body.
Take a deep breath and exhale all of the stress; allow the water to heal you.

2. Bake
During this period, we should be keeping a solid and basic diet; use groceries wisely and eat sparingly. That being said, every now and then, we can treat ourselves to something delicious. Take it one step at a time and enjoy your baking experience.
We will be uploading easy and yummy recipes on our social media platforms, so keep an eye out for those.

Here’s a little sweet something for you to bake.

Rice krispies and date treats:

INGREDIENTS:
125g butter
125g dates
1/4 cup desiccated coconut (optional)
1/2 cup castor sugar
3 cups rice krispies

METHOD:
Melt butter and sugar, add in chopped dates, turn down the heat to medium and stir.Once a mixture add in the coconut and rice krispies. Transfer to a baking casserole and cut into squares.
Let it cool and munch!!!

3. Meditate
We encourage you to incorporate breathing exercises into your meditation. Our respiratory system is the most vulnerable right now and so we need to build strength in our lungs.

The 4 – 7 – 8 technique
• Breath in through your nose for 4 seconds.
• Hold your breath for 7 seconds.
• Now exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds.
Repeat this for about 3 -5 times along to some music or sounds you find relaxing.
